I had purchased a Walnut Chest and had to place it on hold till I brought my pick-up. Well, 4 days later I return for it and they said it is gone, sold to someone else after I already had a receipt for it. I asked if I could pick another chest, even if it costs more since this was clearly their fault for not having better checks&balances, and all they could say is, "I'm sorry -it happens". We can only refund your money back. Terrible customer service and terrible lay-away tracking of customers hold items.

Used to have a booth here and did well selling things. It is huge and lots of booths with a lot of things to see, from junk to nice.

We got there right before closing time. Picked up a side table and took it to the check out. The lady behind the counter just gave us an ugly look and said what do you want. I said that I would like to buy the table. She replied we just counted all the registers and we are done for today. We left the $150.00 table sitting at the counter and told them they just lost a customer for life. Very rude people working there. We will never go back!!!!!

I am a frequent visitor to Antique stores, and this one is by far my favorite. The Vendors keep their stock rotated and there is almost always something new every time I go there. I got the coolest kitchen island made of reclaimed objects. It was huge, funky, fun, and exactly what I needed to bring a touch of rustic to my modern, rustic, chic style of décor for my kitchen. I visit at least once a month or so. Great place!

I'm a big shopper, but I couldn't find anything I needed. It didn't feel like there were any "young" or "hip" vendors selling here and several areas smelled really strongly of cigarette smoke.

The second best flea mall we've ever been to. Found lots of decently priced items for my husband's Earnhardt collection. Came across a few junk items but that's to be expected. A bit cluttered and hard to move around in but would definitely visit again if we were in the area. (Originally visited in October 2012)

The Bama Flea Mall is a collection of everything from nice antique pieces to junk. Hopefully the name itself will help clarify that this is not a Royal Street antique gallery. Nonetheless, it is well worth a visit. Here are a few points to help you with this place...1. It is located about 1/2 mile off of exit 144 (the Leeds exit) on the left side of the road across from a church.2. The place is like a flea market in that you must sift through junk to find treasures.3. If you know your prices, items, or have a predetermined amount that you would like to spend, this is a fun place.4. As you enter the "mall", there is a small section of booths to your right that contain smaller collectible items such as coins, fishing lures, baseball cards, and soft drink memorabilia.5. There is some furniture here (don't expect Stickley), but there is more a mix of old signs, tools, dishes, glassware, etc.6. If you are a high end antiques purist, you might hate this place. In addition to antiques there are loads of items related to Auburn and Alabama football, homemade crafts (such as bird cages, T shirts, etc.), and definite yard sale left overs.7. Some items are negotiable. If you are interested, just ask. However, if you have an eye for and a knowledge of a particular type of collectible, you might just find an addition to your collection here.

for some it may be a great place..surely filled with stuff..looks like yard sale merchandise left over and brought to a booth.. not our best experience...very large,,overloaded and junky..very few worthy antiques..mostly flea market stuff and that was not what we liked

Experience has shown that you cannot cover this extravaganza in less than an hour. There's a vast variety (excepting the Roll Tide memorabilia) and museum quality in several booths. We've furnished several rooms with special finds from there. Many sellers offer discounts, and some will take offers. If you fail to grab a shopping cart, you'll likely have to go back to get one! If you hear the same Christmas song for the 3rd time, you've been waddling the aisles too long. But ain't it fun?!!
