If you are in the area of Millinocket ME you must stop and see the works of Mark Picard wildlife photographer, He is one of the best around his prints are life like a must see !!

Before the Gallery existed I met Mark and Anita when I did his weekend workshop, two years in a row. When in Maine I make a point of going to the Gallery to see my friends on my way to Baxter State Park. The photography and the display are fabulous! If you have no wall space at home you can still get Mark's photos on other things like puzzles and CD cases ( the music is beautiful also). They are friendly, down to earth, and helpful. Everything they do is excellent quality. Not sure when I'll be in Maine again from PA. Whenever it is, I will visit the gallery. Recomend a stop to all traveling in the area.

Visited Millinocket in October and stumbled upon the Moose Prints Gallery. Loved the gallery and the quality of the photos, especially the moose (as this was the main(e) reason for my visit, to see moose)! Anita was very nice, friendly and helpful! This gallery was the best place I saw in Millinocket. Went to Baxter State Park and saw zero moose. Went to Greenville for 2 days and saw 3 bulls, 8 females and 2 calves. Most of them near Kokadjo, at the start of Golden Road. Warning; do not go during hunting season. It's no fun to be photographing 3 huge bull moose one moment and have a pick-up of hunters shoot them as soon as you pull away! Loved seeing the gallery, tho!

This is a "must stop" if you are in the area for the first time. Not only were we captivated by the photography displayed, Mark and his wife provided us with information for a self guided tour that was like a trip through wonderland. We purchases 2 canvas mounted photos which he shipped to our home address. Both arrived in perfect condition a few days after our return.

Most art gallery owners cringe when they see a family with small children. When we arrived at Moose prints with our 3 children under 6, Mark and Anita greeted us as if we were lifelong friends. The photography is amazing, and Mark's willingness to divulge the secret locations of moose watching were invaluable to making our trip memorable. The conversation with Mark and Anita were worth the visit, and the beautiful gallery pieces were icing on the cake. Moose Prints is a must stop for anyone in the area.

We stopped by the Moose Prints Gallery on our way home from a morning at Sandy Stream Pond in Baxter State Park. Although our moose sighting in the park was not successful, only seeing one from a distance, Mark Picard's moose photos in the gallery completed the picture of the beauty of the pond and its wildlife residents. Over the years Mark has captured some extraordinary shots. We purchased two moose photos which we will treasure as a reminder of our trip. Mark and his partner took the time to show us many photos and explain the experience of capturing the perfect shot. I would highly recommend a visit to the gallery before or after a visit to the park.

This gallery contains photos by Mark Picard of moose and other wildlife from the local area. It is very tastefully displayed. The prices are very reasonable. Mark is also very hospitable and welcoming. He is a very talented photographer and a trip to his gallery is well worth the time if you are in the local area.

When in the Milinocket region this is a must see for family and children and adults alike. we searched for moose but did not see any and these photos were just so beautiful. it made my day

As amature wildlife photographers, we were intrigued by Mark's photographs at another business in Millinocket so had to stop at the gallery where we met Mark, the photographer, and his wife, Anita. They were very pleasant and willing to discuss techniques for the photos we asked about. The photos were exceptional and even better after hearing the stories behind them. The gallery was beautiful!
