antero mountain ranch

Went on the dinner ride. This is a great ranch, beautiful views and the Heck family are the best hosts you could ask for. So much better than the rides when you are with 40 other strangers and a cloud of dust. Highly reccomend this ranch.

We had six adults and four children the oldest of which was 8. The people at the ranch made it safe and fun for the 8 and two five year olds. The five year olds rode a small pony and completed the ride. The views from the top of the property were stunning and the food very good. Our kids hadn't ridden much either and they felt it was the highlight of their four day stay with us. I can't recommend this ranch highly enough.....I would ride anywhere else.

Our family had the best of times on a 2 hour horseback ride through beautiful mountain scenery. The family run operation is kid friendly and they have horses for someone of about any age. Our youngest is 7 and even she rode her own horse. The owners are super friendly and very accomodating. Definitely something we want to repeat on a return visit.
