owner is a hillbilly, two stars for his mild entertainment value, use his bathroom facilities, he seems to really like that.

On the way to Bryce NP, we stopped into the museum to check it out. We noticed Robert working outside and he greeted us right away! He chatted with us as we went into the museum and Robert turned everything on for us so we could go in. We went in and Robert went back to work. All four of us looked around and were really impressed by all of his hard work. He has put together a great room full of animals and insects. After we looked into the museum we headed out to feed to animals in the back, Robert was telling us all about his place and all the hard work he does to keep it up. (also future plans) I see that some people have given him some bad reviews and that he was rude, but we just cant see that. He was very nice and polite person. I bet we spent and hour and a half just talking with him. We enjoyed every minute of it. We told him we needed to find a place to eat and he pointed us in the direction of a very good resturant down the street. I would encourage people to stop by and see this place. It was great!I know Robert reads these posts... so thank you Robert for your hospitality and the cream pies at the Resturant you sent us to were great! If ever back in the area, we will stop by again!

My husband and I were here last week to rent an ATV for two. The owner gave us a map, carefully explained the trails, showed my husband how to drive the ATV..We followed behind him to the first stop, where we saw cute prairie dogs in the wild. He took pictures of us, using our camera. Then we were on our way, for three hours of fun... Along the way we saw antelope, mule deer, and an osprey. The scenery was beautiful, and included a short detour where we were among the red canyons..We were on trials used by the settlers of long ago. We eventually arrived at a lake which was our turning point to head back. There was no dust as we were not driving behind anyone else ... so many of the reviews for other ATV vendors mention dust dust and more dust. We covered a lot of territory and only encountered three other people during that time. The museum looked interesting, but we didn't have time to go in. We were permitted to use the bathroom, which was sparkling clean. The owner seemed very knowledgeable about the area, the wildlife, and was kind and helpful to us. The next day, I discovered I had lost my credit card, somehow, along the trial. The owner found it and took the trouble to call us and is mailing it to our home. What a relief! My husband and I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for an ATV ride..

The folks at Bryce Canyon Wildlife Adventure were kind and welcoming. You can tell they have poured their hearts into this great place. We had a great time on the self-guided ATV tour! My husband drove and we had the best time exploring at our own pace. It was amazing to see antelope grazing so close, one actually ran at the same pace as our ATV allowing some terrific pictures. Loved the Prairie dogs! The museum is top-notch with amazing detail. We enjoyed our visit.

I found the Bryce Canyon Wildlife adventure an absolutely gem. Sugar, my small dog and I wandered the upstairs and downstairs of the museum and I believe it rivals the Field in Chicago. It is a stunning place and I understand it will soon be bigger. The fee was minimum. Robert and his wife were very cheerful and helpful.

Renting your own ATV and taking to the trails on your own was fantastic. We didnt have any concerns with Robert or his wife, The experience was a great one tho, Robert was good at showing us the trails heads and how to run the ATV, very proud of his work and he should be, The museum is fabulous and spotless. They both take great pride and care in their work. We would definately return to rent an ATV again. We saw some pretty big mule deer at the top of the king trail loop. The trails were marked well, and we had an awesome time!

Probably the only place to rent a self-guided atv around beautiful Bryce Canyon. That's good.Well displayed collection of taxidermy specimens from around the world. That's good. But here's the weird part. The owner is an interesting talented man - and was very accomodating to our family. But his sudden violent verbal tirades against some unsuspecting tourists who parked in the wrong place while we were there were quite disturbing. We've never witnessed such a "melt-down" by someone running a business for the public. It is obvious that he becomes very angry when people park in the wrong place. But people aren't perfect and don't always read the signs. That's life. Read some of the negative comments and decide for yourself.

This is the 2nd year my friend amd I came to ride. Owner's are super friendly and accommodating. Im in ♥ with their new miniature donkeys. Riding without a trail guide makes this trip so spectacular. Robert outlines the areas and away we go. So so much fun. We even got to feed the deer!

My friend and I have been twice and have thoroughly enjoyed our time together both times. We highly recommend the ATV trails.

First, in regards to the negative reviews: It's a shame that the the rating was based on a family wanting to use the museum/business for a potty break/rest stop rather than for (or even in tamdem with) what it was intended. The owner, Robert, was a treasure - as was our entire experience with the ATVs. Robert took time to clearly and carefully show us how to start and run the ATVs - all of us beginners. He was expecially encouraging as we learned, shared "inside" information about the trail so we'd get the most enjoyment, and reminded us that even if we were 10 minutes late, it wouldn't be a big deal. It's clear he takes great pride in his business - washing the ATVs after each use, offering soap and water from the outside pump to wash the grit off. The gift shop had many nice things, but there were NO high-pressure sales tactics ...just a guy who wants to share this wonderful way of life in this very friendly state. We didn't go into the museum (time constraint), but we did feed the deer and hang out by the "farm" area. I think Robert and his wife could've sat and told us endless stories about life in Utah. Too bad we didn't have enough time. If you are wanting to rent an ATV while in the area, please, please don't overlook this place. When we were finished with our three-hour tour, we all said that we would have HATED being on a tour with a dozen people strung in a row, trying to keep up, eating dust, and not being able to stop when we wanted. ON YOUR OWN - THIS IS HOW TO DO IT! The price was right, the ATVs were in great shape, and the whole experience was just plain FUN!

It is interesting to read the comments as seen by someone else. First of all, they neglect to tell you that they pulled quickly into our handicap spaces and 2 car loads of people got out (10 pp +/-) and went directly into the restroom. The comment made was that it was, "a pit stop". A gas station, a rest area, are public restroom facilities. A museum is not. We have signage that says, for customers only, but nobody could read that? You're offended. I'm offended as one of two people that maintain 5 acres and 16,000 SF of property that you think I should clean up after you go to the bathroom without patronizing my business after signage is placed instructing to use public facilities. We have 5,000 cars per day drive by. If everyone acted like you we wouldn't be any different than a rest area or Loves truck stop. Let's face it you needed to go and you didn't even have the courtesy to inquire what was here. There are at least 7 rest areas between Kanab and Bryce. Must of missed those for a 1 1/2 hour drive and 1 mile from the park.

angelap221

Just like the other reviewers we were verbally assaulted when we stopped here on the way to Kanab. If you don't like tourists, don't build a tourist trap on a major highway.

My husband rented an ATV from Robert. He provided a clear map showing a route that would allow us to view beautiful sites. We also had an opportunity to view his amazing animal museum while Robert shared stories of his past. It was an unforgettable experience rating this 10/10.

A nice contrast from Arches NP and Zion NP. A colorful feast for your sense of sight. The hoodoos changes color before your eyes - such a magical experience. The wildlife sightings an added surprise . Definitely will be back to do more especially the backroads.
