New seating and remodeling, good improvements. This cinema is a great addition to Andover community. We will go again.
Liked the seats and had a great view. Popcorn was stellar.Easy check in and tickets. Clean bathrooms. Would go to again.
Andover Cinema is a nice local movie theatre. It has stadium seating and friendly staff to take care of you meet your concession needs.
Theater design offers good viewing from 95% of the seats. The cinema offers a selection of theaters for viewing the different movies available.
Went last night with my grandson to see Planet of the apes...The cinema is tiny on one level. My grandson had to kneel on the seats to see the small screen popcorn all over the floor...Never go again. Will stick with Basingstoke in future.
Took the kids to Godzilla love this theatre nice and close to where we live and has that neighborhood feel, and good job remodeling. I love the seats. Good popcorn, pop refills free. Best of all we can always get in and people up here seem to respect the other patrons more. Phones are off and no loud people. That's why we always go back.
I came here to watch a few movies every once in a while as it was the movie theaters I lived closest to at the time. I remember watching The Wolverine here. It was not a bad place. I thought the staff was friendly and everything. A smile is always a plus. I was just by myself. If you're a solo traveler.. I mean, it really depends what you're rating. The overall experience, the seats, the movie. I enjoyed it. I found no problems with anything. The price was not too high when I went either.
We frequent this theater often with our family of five. The theater recently came under new ownership, and a major remodel took place. All theaters have comfortable stadium seating, and it isn't an overcrowded complex so you can always get a ticket. Why complain about concession prices - have you ever seen a theater that wasn't overpriced? It's called staying competitive! The only disappointment was doing away with $5 Tuesdays - my family and I had a regular date to see a movie every Tuesday and with the new ownership - it went away. Bring it back!!
You average movie complex. Snack bar prices jacked to the hilt and staff not only forgets your there they sometimes forget to start the movie on time. It is usually clean but the seats are never confortable. I do however like the early bird movie discount that is later in the day than other cinemas in the area.
they have greaat deals and great surround sound. they keep up with all the cuurent movies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We went to a 915pm show. Movie itself was terrible. The seats were broken and uncomfortable.Once the movie ended the lights never got turned back on. Using our cell phones, we made it to the lobby. We then discovered that there were no employees in the entire building!!!! There were teenagers everywhere. I'm surprised this place is still in business.
Just like any other theater, but I'm not a fan of Pepsi products and the popcorn seems just too buttery, if that's even possible. Maybe it's the butter all together.
Just an average thaeter, in a far north suburb of the Twin Cities.
I hadn't been to a movie in a while and was looking forward to it. However, when we got to this movie, the screen was blurry and seemed more like we were watching a movie on a t.v. screen in the early 70's, with poor reception. Three different people at separate times got up and asked a ticket taker and then later, the person who takes your money, if they would PLEASE fix the blur on the screen. It was never fixed and at the end of the movie we felt like we were going blind. With all the theater's around here, I won't be going back to this one. Boo!
