This little place is a gem. I do wish it had an outside pool as well as we don't go here in Summer. It is great for off season though no matter if it is heated, it still feels cold in the winter (but so does any indoor water park including Great Wolf Lodge). The spray pool is perfect for kids up to about 7, though my 11 year old will play in the area with other kids, he just isn't allowed on the slide structure. It is great for toddlers as well as it has a gradual beach entrance. There is also a "lazy" river that is pretty fast lol (no float devices allowed except their provided vests) and there is a slide for big kids and adults plus a lap pool and a hot tub right in the middle of the whole place for 18 and over only. Adults can easily see their older kids from the hot tub, anywhere they go in here. But for kids 7 and younger, you have to be within arms reach. My oldest doesn't bore easily, but this place is probably not fun for teens, but it's great for families and kids. For such a small fee, you can't beat this place. We are not residents, so we drive here to get to swim and splash and relax. There is no eating inside the swim area so it stays clean. The bathrooms are ok. There are lots of tables outside the swim area in the lobby or outdoors for having lunch. There are a few vending machines in the lobby or you can bring your food. And they've never said anything to me about water bottles or baby snacks inside. There is also a climbing wall in the lobby you can pay a few extra dollars and the kids can climb as long as they want WITH assistance from a rec center employee. We had a party here 4 years ago and rented both of the party rooms. It was a decent price and you have to provide everything. But there is lots of seating, tables, and prep area. Highly recommended.

I will buy the punch cards next time ($30-$50). it will save us more money from the already affordable entrance fee. the place is well maintained, they have slides, lap pools, spray ground? for the little ones, clean restrooms. it's much smaller than Tom Muehlenback in Plano but it has a stronger lazy river, a hot tub, and less crowded.

We've been going to the Natatorium regularly since moving to the area two years ago. My 8-yr. old daughter loves to go to the pool, especially when it's too cold for outdoor pool play. Although she's one inch too short of the required 48" to enjoy the indoor water slide, we like to go around the lazy river (a lot) and she plays on the water jungle gym and goes down the slide for small kids. There's also a small area for swimming laps (and an adjacent larger lap swim if it's not reserved for other use). We've gone at all different times and, although it can get crowded at peak times (late morning and early afternoon), it's still manageable and we really enjoy it a couple of hours before close where we often have major sections of the pool play areas to ourselves.
