laughing raven gallery

Was only window shopping. Found it interesting enough to stop and look inside. Not impressed with selection. It would be a great shop to feature local talent better then is being done. It's almost like only certain items are being allowed. Need more variety.

I am already a fan of Dave Wilder's artwork, so I visited his Gallery to pick up another print or two. I ended up walking out of there with 4 different pieces, none of them Dave's! There is a wonderful combination of artists at this gallery. Lots of color, tons of talent and affordable prices. It doesn't feel or look like any other gallery in Jerome. I wanted to spend all day in there. I ended up with a beautiful Ceramic mug, a hand carved wooden bowl with a turquoise inlay, an original oil (mixed media) picture and a colorful whimsical acrylic painting. My friend picked up two different prints as well. I would highly suggest stopping in this gallery if you're out and about in Jerome. Friendly people and amazing art. There is nothing like seeing an original Dave Wilder painting either. He's simply my favorite artist around.

We have a lot of galleries in Arizona, and most of them have that classic stuffy "don't touch anything" feeling, but not Laughing Raven! Cheerful and colorful, creative & humorous artwork, wonderful crafts, and even a kids' toy area. The works of the talented artists represented here are very professional, in addition to the fun atmosphere. If you only stop at one gallery in Jerome, this is the one!
