This one of the most beautiful parks in Europe. There are a variety of species brought here from all over the world, including sequioa trees and ginko biloba. The sights are wonderful.

Lovely park to walk through, regardless of the season. It's THE attraction I would recommend to anyone visiting, at any time. It's so relaxing and refreshing. Simply beautiful. And with the snow around look like a fairytail.It cannot be expressed by words the feeling of the quiet, the smell of the nature and the nice view of the Enchanted Castle, Zoo, Bibescu Palace and suspended bridge. You need to visit this place, so you can enjoy all these.

Designed by Edouard Redont in 1900, this park is a pice of art. It is very clean. A real pleasure to walk there!!!

Great place, it has a lot of places to rest, with a lot of services for the visitors. The bridges and the castle were amazing.

We spent a grate day in this lovely Park, they have 2 playgrounds based on the age of children, a very beautiful restaurant located in a castle that looks like a fairy castle.

The park Nicolae Romanescu is an amazing place that will make you feel like in a fairyland. It green, large, clean, comfortable to cycle, to walk your dog, to let little kids crawl on the grass, to take a boat in a lake, to have a snack, to read a book, to have a little hike. You can have a full day in the park, never getting bored. The park is an ideal place for everything - from a simple walk to a birthday party and all the way to a wedding ceremony. The bridges have special charm, as their parapets are made of natural wood sticks and they look like piece of art. Swans are gracefully swimming in one of the lakes. It is clean all over, all grass and flower areas are perfectly maintained. Little and larger fountains and waterfalls make the hole place like a scene from a fairy tale. It is a fantastic place that will make you equally happy each time you visit it.

Nicolae Romanescu Park is probably the biggest attraction in Craiova. You can rent a bike with your friends but is also suitable for couples and families. You can also find playgrounds for young children and a few bars/restaurants. Keep in mind that picnics and sitting on the grass in the main area is not allowed .

This is certainly the most impressive park I've ever seen in Romania. A huge green area within the city, very well thought out, neat and maintained at a superb level. Perfect for having a walk, hanging out, sitting on one of the numerous benches, people watching, driving your bike, etc. I just loved it!

One of the most beautiful parks in Romania and definitely a go-to natural attraction to discover in Craiova. The Haunted Castle - now a coffee shop, the high-level bridge, the extensive beautiful and clean lake filled with water lilies made our walk a very pleasant experience. Romanescu Park is an oasis of green, old trees and a place where one listen to nature, in the heart of the city.

Location is inside of the city. Architecture of the park is very nice ( large alleys , secular trees and a big lake ). They have even a small zoo. Good place for walking. There are plenty of small restaurants available. Food is decent but not impressive but you can have a beer or soft drinks.

When Bucharest was the Paris of the East, Craiova was the Bois du Boulogne. The park is a piece of turn-of-the-century elegance: cafes, follies, a lake, wonderful frogs.

Had a wonderful relaxing stroll round this extensive park. Paths lead through woods, round the lake. Including a high-level bridge with nice view.There is boating, bike hire, go-karts, small funfair.We walked round the zoo in the middle, but this was rather sad - the animals are kept in enclosures that are too small. It did not look very well kept.There are some beautiful locations and when it's sunny wedding couples go there for their photo shoots!
