Nice walking paths , old wood lot with swamps full of life . Bicycles , walking dogs ,runners and just walkers to explore . Fairly well maintained but needs some TLC !

A great place to picnic. There is open spaces and a huge covered pavilion. You can grill here. There is a beach with restrooms and change rooms. A snack bar is also on site if you prefer to purchase a hotdog , ice cream, and drinks

We love the park. We live across the street from it. It has lots of walking trails and endangered species of trees and plants. It borders the Welland Canal and you can take a trail down to the canal to see the ships.

A nice little sanctuary for hiking or biking that connects to the Waterfront Trail as well as the Welland Canal trail system. Although there is a map and legend at one entrance to the park it is a bit difficult to navigate as trails do not appear to be marked. There are a number of dog owners who let their dogs run loose which can be a bit disruptive. More green space in the city, good.

This is situated near lock 1 of the Welland Canal. It is maintained by a hardworking group of volunteers who maintain the park in a very natural state.Great paths to bike on or hike with trail connections to to other areas.Admission is free

This is a great park if you are a beginner canoe person. The 16 mile creek watershed runs through the park. You can drop in a canoe and make your way to the 16 mile island and have lunch, then paddle back. For the most part the water is all flat water. There are some facilities at the park including washrooms and a gazebo.
