high falls trail

So this may be the best part of Philmont. Defiantly worth the hike and the stream will be there forever as long as the residents of the pit leading to it stop throwing trash into it. Def worth the hike.

We have lived within an easy drive of High Falls for years and never knew it was here. It is off a side road but still very accessible from Rt 23 Highly recommend it for all level of hikers and nature lovers Especially good for a family with children as there are options to reach the falls. The lower trail is easiest and still takes you to the beautiful falls. There is even picnic tables to enjoy lunch We look forward to going back in the winter on snowshoes.

This a beautiful walk, able to make it to the top without much ado, it is walking up hill to see the falls and then down wear good hiking shoes especially if it has rained or snowed recently. The Falls are beautiful, I have been in all the seasons and have never been disappointed.
