We come to Grand Junction to play this course every year. Such a scenic location with some challenging holes. The staff was on top of everything making sure our carts were set up and gave up directions and what to watch for on the course. Had breakfast before and lunch afterwards. Breakfast was prepared quickly. Lunch was a bit drawn out as the wait staff was not a focused on the guests. I recommend this location.

Professional, polite staff, lovely dining area, delish food and the golf course is set in the gorgeous Colorado Monument area.

The staff were helpful and professional. This has got to be the most beautiful golf course I've seen yet. My significant other is an avid golfer, and he thought the course was a little challenging being that it was his first time there - which is OK cuz he likes a challenge.

This is a beautiful golf course set in the midst of the mesas. Many elevated tees. Greens and course are in great shape. Nice small pro shop, food was good at restaurant. Will be going back again to play when we head that way. Green fees + cart were around $80.

Jim Engh designed this masterpiece of a golf course in the hills just outside Grand Junction CO. You'll be hard-pressed to find a fault with any aspect of the course: staff, vistas, layout, fairways and greens are all impeccable. On many tee boxes you'll be tempted just to stand and stare at the vistas, the design, or both. As is typical with an Engh design, many greens are set in bowls, permitting a good result from an imperfect approach. Your score will appreciate that feature.

Played this course on Tuesday July 22nd. The course was wide open and we got our round in under 3 and a half hours. The course was in great shape, The greens were fast but very playable. Loved all of the holes. Great scenery great staff. Can't wait to visit Grand Junction again just to play this course.

This course was so beautiful to look at. It was also very challenging, especially the front nine. My husband hits the ball very long and the course is short up front but we thought it was amazing. The course was very worth the fee. The guys in the pro shop were very nice, letting me borrow a bag and they actually gave us the rate for locals. $76 per round. The course fairways were plush and green and in top condition. It is typical desert golf though, if you are out of the fairway, your ball is pretty well lost. Take lots of balls. When we were in the clubhouse a guy said to them "give me the cheapest balls you have as I'm about to make a donation to your rough" lOL!.. We played on a Friday and I was amazed at how very little people were on this course.

Colorado boasts so many phenomenal golf courses, but if you get the chance this is a "must do". I was blown away (winds are pretty tough in the afternoon too) of the scenery....and spent more time taking photos than focusing on golf. Friendly staff, nice restaurant, decent pricing, well kept course all adds up to 5 stars. Can't wait to play it again..first timers bring your camera, lots of balls, and be ready to shoot a high score the first time.

If you're a golfer this is a fun course, with striking scenery. My boss is a 7 handicap golfer and still finds this a challenging course. I'm a lot worse but still find it fun. It can be walked but you be beat after 18. My dad (83 when he played here) said, "If the devil wanted to build a golf course in hell he'd come here for ideas!"Lunch food is good and basic. They used to have dinner. The view from the restaurant area is the best in Grand Junction. But they can't seem to advertise or run a consistent dinner operation. It's a shame as the views are spectacular. It's a waste of a fine facility. So play golf here with your friends. Eat a sandwich for lunch, drink a beer and have dinner elsewhere!

The spring rates are a terrific deal! The course was not crowded at all on a Monday, and was in fair condition. The staff was friendly and options were given to play earlier since we arrived early. I'd recommend this course for those looking for amazing scenery and a challenging course.

I have read all the reviews listed here and let me tell you all from a true 10 HANDICAP you will love this course.Hello golf is a challenge and a day of fun and this course has it all.The staff is top notch as the Bar and Grill staff right down to the starters. If you want a "Perfect" course in great shape with views that you will only get at the "Poipu" Bay Course in Kauai then stop and play here and please take the time to share your experience.I live East of there in Glenwood Springs and living in this great state we are very spolied when it comes to golf and I make my way there and always take a new player with me as well.Hope whoever reads this has a wonderful time as I always do.Remember golf is a "Fun" game take some buddys make some side bet's and take in all this great setting has to offer.

We were on holiday in the Grand Junction area and were advised that Redwood Mesa GC was considered to be the best course in the area. The members, staff and shop staff we met were friendly, welcoming and helpful. We hired clubs (Titleist AP1) at the Pro shop, day ticket and buggy for less than $280 for 2. For the standard and style of the course this I would suggest is about right. The course meanders through desert, scrub and (expensive) housing utilising the contours , rock formations and topography well. No two holes are the same. All are challenging, and a buggy is a necessity. There is water fountains at every 3 holes for refreshments. We only played this course in Grand Junction area so I can't give a comparison with the others in the area. However, was I pleased we took up the recommendation -Yes! Would we play it again - Yes! Would we recommend it -Yes! We also had lunch in the restaurant.. Again the staff were friendly and welcoming. The food was inexpensive and good quality and there was a reasonable selection of drinks and refreshments available.

Although not the best course we have played, we were happy this course made our list of golf courses to play along our golf trip around Colorado. We found great rates on golfnow.com too! This was the second course we played the day of our visit so I know the already challenging course was much more challenging. We still had so much fun and would highly recommend this course to others. Prior to teeing off, we enjoyed lunch at the clubhouse which we both enjoyed as well. The staff is very friendly as well. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

I grant you that Redlands Mesa is very challenging, but I've never played a more beautiful course. The architect created a masterpiece amidst the canyons. Don't miss the opportunity to experience Redlands Mesa. The restaurant also is excellent.
