This is the first winery you pass as you get off I-40 going towards Sevierville and Pigeon Forge. If you are heading east on I-40 all you have to do is take the first right after you leave the exit ramp and it is the first driveway on your left going up the hill. The staff there has always been friendly and seemed knowledgeable about the wines they have. Some of the wines are available chilled, so usually we purchase a bottle the way in to have with dinner at the cabin we rent. The last time we were there, we brought back a semi-sweet wine called "Nectar." My wife served it Bunco one night and we ended up with orders for 11 bottles. Naturally, everyone gets a discount on case lots, so we bought an additional bottle to round out the case.We try and stop on the way in because it is easier than making a left turn when leaving across the oncoming traffic on the Parkway.

The employees at Eagle Springs were average, as they could be more personable with their customers and make the tasting experience more interactive. They do not provide much information regarding the different wines they offer. The selection of wine was one of the smaller selections however, they have very good wine at Eagle Springs. This winery is almost to the interstate, but I recommend to not let it be your last impression of the wine trail.

I been at this winery many times, and every time they are the best in every way,the staff is amazing, first shout out goes to fellow red head Angel, she is very sweet and funny.second shout out goes to J.D he waited on me,he was terrific, helpful, and very funny,he knew how much I loved the chubby limited edition wine and made sure I was taken care of.what a great team and winery!I been to many, none of them even comes else to this. winery.since they didn't make cubby anymore, they have a new one called fearless,my New favorite,it's good!when I am in Arizona for awhile I will have them ship to,they are that good&unique.thanks from Laura,Alaska and Justine..ps,she was jealous of my cubby bottle.lol

Okay, I love mead and this honey wine fits the bill! I'm a southerner and so naturally I love sweet muscadines and honey wines and this winery makes a good one.

If you like Super sweet wine then this is the winery for you. They add sugars and honey after the fact and that makes them way to sweet for me. Their "Dry" offerings are actually Semi-sweet and their semi-sweets are actually very sweet and their sweet wine is just syrupy kool-aid like swill. If you like overly sweet muscadine wine then again, this will be right up your alley. The more you know about wine and what wine is supposed to taste like, the less you will like this stuff. It is a nice building (glad to see someone put it to use, it was originally a Log Home sales office that sat vacant for years.) and the staff is friendly. I give the tasting a 5 but the wine itself a 2 so average it out at 3.

This was our last stop of the 5 wineries on the local wine trail, earning us our free wine glasses. It was also one of our favorites. The gentleman assisting us was very friendly and took time to explain each wine to us. He also shared some cheese with one of our tastings and some chocolate with another. We ended up buying a bottle or two of our favorites!

This was my third visit to the winery. My wife and I have not had a bad experience there yet. When we come to Gatlinburg, we always stop and shop here. Most of the wines have a honey base to them. They always have a seasonal wine to taste and we are never disappointed.

This winery was the second stop for us on The Rocky Top Wine Trail. So far I have zero complaints about The Trail, but this was by far the best winery I've yet to visit. The guy entertaining us (and doing a wonderful job!) was very friendly and knowledgeable about the wines he was presenting. We even shared a few opinions on tastes and aromas. Could not have asked for better service, and everyone there was enjoying themselves, staff included! Beautiful storefront and clean. I want this place in my back yard! A+ all across the board on the wines, even the ones that I didn't like were still pretty good. They were a little on the sweet side, even for the dry stuff. But still some of the best I've sampled. Couldn't have made a better impression!

Your staff is your face, they can make you or break you. The girl that served us was so rude that if I wasn't familiar with the wines and loved them, I would never walk in the door again. I'm a member of the wine club, which I didn't tell her, and thank goodness because the only thing I learned about their limited edition wines I learned from the server helping the people next to us. We were there for maybe all of 10 minutes, and some of that time was waiting on her to come over and acknowledge us. I would tell you her name, but that would have required conversation. Go try the wine, try and have a male server, maybe he'll be more friendly.

I just walked out from there winery and Catherine was sampling us the wines they had. Every single one of them were great! We walked out buying six bottles! Ha! If you are around the area and looking to buy some wine for yourself or a gift for someone come by here and ask for her and enjoy the great tasting wines they offer!!

This winery is a little harder to get too but worth the effort. The wines are a little sweeter. Our hostess, Kimberly, was knowledgable about the wines and very friendly. I will go back again.

Friendly staff. We stopped in for the wine tasting for the Rocky Top Wine Trail. Eagle Springs was our first stop. Their wines are hiney based, and by far the best wine ive ever had. We bought a bottle of screaming apricot (sweet wine) and spiced wine packet. All were SO good. And if you visit 3 of the 5 wineries on the trail, you get a free wine glass.

The owners of this winery now have several locations , all with the same name. We visited their new location in Kodak, which sits high above road construction so not a pretty view but the wines we sampled ( 6 tastings apiece which were FREE) were quite good and unique. The building itself is beautiful and there are seats out back that DO provide a nice, wooded view so had we had the time available, we'd have rested there. What strategic marketing on their part. We were lured in by a BIG billboard on the interstate advertising them and our "wine educator" stated they have been getting quite a bit of other business that way. Anyway, well worth the stop but again, look past the road construction mess.

I been here twice now.the first time I went with my 23yr old daughter,I am 43.and we are both wildlife activists and animal rescuers.so,being there the first time to try the wine, they had a wine called cubby that helps the bears at appalacian bear rescue,we were so happy to hear that,so that alone will make us always come back.and the wine was our favorite to. we were so impressed with Beth, she was so nice, informative and had a great attitude. Then I went back a second time, this time I was prepared money wise, lol.and met another outstanding wine server, Catherine, she was so funny, kind, great personality and knowledegable, this time I tried another one I missed the first visit called Indian summer, loved it,very unique.I tried all wines, and I must say this winery has the most diversity and uniqueness compared to others.I always only like one or two from each winery my daughter and I try out.but this one I love cubby,Indian summer,we bought a few.and I liked three others alo t to but I couldn't decide so that will be my next box order.the entire staff I came across is great!the best staff and winery I have been to by far!I can't wait to get more cubby,Indian summer before gone.and the three wines I just couldn't decide on.lol..plus I love the honey lotions and wine soaps they have.wonderful products and animal friendly.I bought some of that to and will get more also.thx see ya soon,Laura and Alaska Bukovsky and justine j.
