Thank you to Paul & Kathy,As we were travelling through from Park City to Lake Tahoe, my husband wanted to drive to the Miller Motorsport Track so he could have his photo taken outside the track.Whilst pulling up at the open gates, a security guard called Paul allowed us to go in and drive round the different facilities in there, the track was closed to the public but there was some practise training going on on the 'Go Cart Track'. It was great being able to drive the outskirts of the different tracks.Thank you to Paul & Cathy for firstly allowing us in, for the banter and future visiting advice. If we'd have pulled up to a closed track in the UK, we most certainly wouldn't of been allowed in to drive around. That's what we love about America's.thanks Justin & Julie Morgan
Visit one of the finest tracks in north America, if not the world. Great viewpoints from the stands to see a race. Take a walk around to find your favorite spot to view. The long straightaway is popular as are the turns on the South side. The Kart track is a lot of fun, too. We have done several group events here and everyone had a blast. A few of the karts didn't perform as well as others, so if you want to be competitive, pick a cart that is running well. The staff was young and helpful and they kept everyone safe.
A LOT of money went into building this place out in the desert by a guy for he and his friends. Then it just seemed right to have some events. And as they say, "the place was off to the races".Wind, sun, blowing sand, sounds like Iraq at times. But a first rate facility, purpose built not so long ago and well thought out. Good and clean restrooms. Fast. And you can see.We have mostly gone to motorcycle races there and were able to get into the pits. Meeting up with buddies from all over the country. Really good.Bring water, bring sun screen. What a great place and easy to find.
This is a world class racing facility sitting an hour outside Salt Lake City. You may be surprised, WSB and NASCAR have both raced here. Club racing and special events too. Highly recommended.
As a woman at a race track, finding a clean bathroom with running water is absolutely amazing! Nothing is more unappetizing than sharing porta-potties with all the crew guys. I have to say, this is an amazing facility. It's clean, organized and surrounded by beautiful mountains. It's an awesome track. They also have a go-kart track. BRING SUNSCREEN! You're at high elevation, so drink plenty of water and protect your skin.
I was at the Miller Motorsports Park during it's first year of operation. I was there for a road course event. The viewing from almost anywhere is excellent. One word of warning - it's hot everywhere but in the garages. Plan for lots of hydration and sun screen, but it was well worth the discomfort to be able to see so much of a track during an event. I would have gone back last month, but I'm not really into motocross.
My husband experienced the ST Octane Academy at Miller Motorsports Park on Aug. 10, 2014. He described it as the best experience ever! He thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to drive and do the hot laps with the driving professionals. There is normally a fee for this experience but because he owns a 2013 Ford Focus ST, it was complimentary. We just had to fly to Utah, which ended up being more expensive than expected, but based on my husband's response, it was worth every penny.
We were killing time due to the canceled Speed Week Salt Flat Run this month and decided to check it out. Crazy big layout and very well kept. We watched the Ironman Kart race and watch a couple of the bike and car driving classes going on that day. I would love to be there for a major event.
Too much to list - I had purchased a Focus ST and got a free trip to a track day at MMP. Absolutely unforgettable!
One of the best experiences of my life. The facility is top notch, the staff is even better. Well qualified and good teachers.
This May I attended the ST Octane Academy at the Ford Racing School at Miller Motorsports Park and was blown away by not only the facility, but the friendly and accommodating. The biggest surprise was the MMP Museum. Full of legendary examples of Blue Oval lore, I could have stayed for hours dissecting every detail of these original gems. From the largest collection of GT’s to Cobras and Mustangs, as well as a very special Dan Gurney Cougar, this place is will not disappoint any Blue Oval fan!Come, enjoy and tell all your friends...
Hubby came here to the ST Octane Diving School presented by Ford. Available free for owners of Ford Fiesta and Focus ST cars, the school is a fast paced instruction on knowing the car's limits. Reverse 180s, track time and a road course are led and demonstrated by professional drivers. Even for an observer like me the class and information was very useful. And doing "hot laps" with the pros driving were exciting and fun. There are 2 tracks for autos, a motocross field, and a go cart track.
if you're a Motorhead you will absolutely love this place! Cars, bikes and even trucks at time. This place is always hoping and something to watch even if you don't drive a car. Little kids and adults alike can get excited and have a good time at this place. Check out the schedule and make sure you stop by at least 21 event if you Visit the area
My husband, sons & grandsons are super excited about Millers Sports Park... they love the car racing, motorcycle functions and of course the go-carts... they always have a wonderful experience when they attend..great place for family... good clean fun.
I was skeptical about racing go-karts but I am so glad I went! This is NOT your little brother's go-kart. They average about 55 mph and the race track has some hair-pin turns so you definitely get the feel of racing. What a surprisingly great day hanging out with my family!
