While the title might be lacking in originality, the beer and tours at lazy magnolia make up for it with good beer. The only way to do the tastings at lazy magnolia is to pay $10 for the tour, which while rather annoying coming from the beer Mecca of the mid Atlantic I quickly caved and went on the tour. Lazy magnolia is the oldest brewery in Mississippi, and has wide ranging distribution for their beer! One of my favorites was the Southern Pecan which was delicious. The tour is short and succinct, and the gift shop has some awesome glassware and shirts. The only complaints are the: required tour for tasting, and the state law preventing pint sales on site!

After raving about our Lazy Magnolia draft beer to our waitress in a Biloxi Restaurant, she told us about the brewery and suggested available tours...in nearby Kiln, MS. So...on our way to New Orleans, we made the brief detour off Route 10 to check out the microbrewery. The tour was fantastic. $10 a person included tastings of six different brews--all good--and a decorative pint beer glass. A real deal. My husband is a homebrewer and we've taken lots and lots of tours, but I'd have to say this was about the BEST! The guide really walked us through the process--answering every question we asked. And the samplings....well, what can I say except they were super. The 45-minute tour was one I'd recommend to any homebrewer or craft beer lover. Have fun!

Great tour. Great samples. Had a great time walking through the old building, it looked like they were in the process of building a much larger facility.

The tour here was different than other tours I have been on but this one was the best. Ginger made it the best. The tour is $10 for about a 45 min tour and a glass. They have recently expanded and now are making a honey wine. I am not sure what to expect from this but will try it later.

Go to the tour here. A little off the beaten path if you're in the gulf, but these folks are doing some great stuff. Always been a fan, but now I feel like I have some entitlement to my preference of LM. Ginger was a hoot! She made the tour so fun. She was witty as hell and very knowledgable. Lazy Magnolia is the real deal. Seen it with my own eyes.

We had a very spirited tour guide, Ginger. She explained food pairings for all of the different sample beers. The tour was around 40 minutes, with 6 beer tastings spaced throughout the tour. Overall we enjoyed the tour and the different brews.

This is a really good tour in a place a little hard to find but worth the effort. The tour guide was excellent we learnt all about the brewing company, Mississippi sayings and how to cook fried turkey. Not sure that will be on my Christmas Lunch menu but the beer certainly would be. They were more like European beers and very enjoyable, you got to taste about eight different kinds and the samples were more than generous. At $10 with a pint glass throw in this is a must, one of the best brewery tours i have ever been on and I cannot say enough how good the guide was. I wish they sold Lazy Magnolia in the UK

My husband and I love beer. And we love touring breweries. This one tops, or bottoms, them all! The location is kinda crazy - you will not think there is a brewery located anywhere in the vicinity! They have done little extra prep for tours. You see the real action, up close and personal. The industrial setting is a little smelly and dirty (can they really make beer here!) but kinda added to the 'ambiance'. The tour guides are perky and full of information. We enjoyed several tastings and got our choice of glass to take home for $10. The beers were pretty good - not fabulous, but not bad either. They say they are 'family friendly' but we opted not to bring our teens and that was a good decision. Too many trip and fall hazards, and they could care less about how to brew beer. We also ran all over Kiln (The Kill) to find any references to Brett Favre but were disappointed.Overall, a lot of quirky, but we recommend the tour.

This is the most real brewery tour you are going to find, short of your uncle's basement. Very real, nothing made for the tourists, great little guide we had, too. Got to taste about 8 kinds x 2 oz each (or more) and got a choice of glasses for $10. The downside? Their brews aren't that great. It's all a matter of taste, and this one didn't agree with mine mostly. Esp the pecan----I was really excited in anticipation but let down. (if you go, the entrance is behind the bldg with Police Boats parked out front----no signs. Look for the barrels.)
