We went to try something different from Branson area and headed here for the first tram ride of the day at 10 am. We toured it on a Wednesday. This place is quite breathtaking, and so peaceful. We were allowed to feed the trout and our guide put feed out for the deer, the bison and the long horned cattle. He told us that the first guided tram trip of the day feeds all the animals and because of this we got quite the views. The animals knew it was time to eat and came running down the road. Our guide quickly jumped out and poured the feed alongside of the road, so the animals all ate right next to the tram. It was quite a site to see! It made me a bit nervous when the buffalo were nudging each other, but everything was fine and all went well. The rest of the area has a lot of man made waterfalls and beautiful scenery throughout. The water crossings are definitely something to experience. We had a very nice time and enjoyed the entire time. I found myself wishing we bought the day pass. I should also note that the bathrooms up near the office were really nice.

We drove out to the canyon from Branson. It took about an hour because we went down the wrong round. We got to the canyon and were debating whether to ride the tram at $35 each or Walt the 6 mile trail for $15 each. We asked if we could walk after the tram ride for free. They told us we couldn't but could be dropped off at the halfway point and walk back 3 miles. We were glad we did that, Danny, our tour guide talked us through the park. It has multiple caves, waterfalls, big trout, rainbow and golden. I had never seen golden trout before, the park has even put some rainbow trout with goldens and a cross breed called a golden rainbow is made. The tram also went through their wildlife farm with deer, bison and elk. The elk and bison are in a field with Tesas Long Horn steers. On the way out of the wildlife area we saw a big ground hog. On the 3 mile walk out, we were able to take pictures and drill up our water bottles with natural, spring water, cold and tasty. If you are in Branson, don't miss Dogwood canyon, even if you don't want to walk the trail.

We can we here during our Christmas visit with our grandchildren and their parents. Only got a mile into it when the 5yr olds said it was too long for them to walk, SO. Grandma and Papa came back in September with back pack and lunch. We walked the entire park,, beautiful scenery, lots of places to rest along the way, and just an overall great day! A must when you are visiting Branson and you are tired of all the people!

An absolutely beautiful place. Been there several times, always a good experience. The Saturday evening chuck wagon dinner tour was better than I expected. A must see in the fall.

We had never heard of this place until being told this fall that it was one place we should not miss visiting--and how right they were! We took the 2-21/2 hour tram ride through the park. There are 13 falls and water crossings across the road. The water is so clear that you can see the trout swimming in the streams. The guide tells you the history of how it was started, the work that is ongoing and what the future hold for the park. There is a church where weddings are held with an area behind the church for receptions--the view overlooking a waterfall. It is beautiful. At the end of the first half, you are assured you will see, deer, antelope, buffalo and long horned cattle which roam close and personal to the tram. This is a thoroughly enjoyable time for all ages.

This place is very big in area and we took tram tour to watch the nature park. They do have deer and elk feeding on the way back!!! Lot of waterfalls to enjoy the nature. Great fun alltogether. Must see when you visit branson.

We are not the shopping/shows type people who go to Branson. We like to be outside, walking, fishing, etc., so this was something we wanted to do providing the weather was good. We were so lucky - ended up having a day in the mid-upper 60's! We did the walking tour, but as others have mentioned, there are other options - tram, bike riding, horseback, etc. Everywhere you looked there was something to see, waterfalls, rivers, etc. You are given a map when you enter which describes different things that you will see on the trail. The chapel was beautiful! And the view was breathtaking. I jokingly told my husband that we will go there to renew our vows for our 50th anniversary! Can only imagine the wedding photos taken there. I also thought the area where you can have a group cookout was interesting. I think it would be fun to live in the area and have a family reunion or party there. When you do the walking trail, you can't see the bison, elk, etc. but we have seen those in Yellowstone and Grand Tetons, so didn't feel that was necessary. BUT - we did want to make sure we were able to eat at the café so that we could get elk burgers. DEFINATELY a must!! They were delicious! My husband pointed out that the last bite of the burger was just as hot as the first bite. We weren't sure if it was the texture of the meat, or how they cooked it, but it stayed hot the whole time. We ate a late lunch (some of the last customers of the day) and if I would have known how big the burgers were, I would have suggested we share one. I don't think we ate dinner that night until about 10 p.m.! All of the employees were very friendly and helpful. They are doing construction in one area, but that didn't effect anything we wanted to do.

The was a very scenic place. We did the nature walk but they also offer guided tours by tram. And they have segways. Everywhere you looked you could see natures beauty. My 2 yr old liked seeing all the fish. The chapel was gorgeous. They also have great food must try the elk burger it was fantastic.

Beautiful place, with many ways to explore. Tram tour, bike, hike, Guides were knowledgeable and comical. Plenty of opportunity to stop and stay for awhile and enjoy the beautiful canyon and all it's inhabitants. Waterfalls were amazing, tram tour took you up close and personal with feeding animals.

Great place to hike! You miss some if the best waterfalls if you stay on the tram car! Best one I think is by the chapel. Fish galore! So glad we got the one and only stroller!

We took the tram tour through the park. What a beautiful place! We had a guide that was knowledgable, friendly and funny. Because I am partially handicapped, I was unable to walk the beautiful trails, but was able to see so very much from the tram. There is some construction going on, but it was still a peaceful and enjoyable place. We loved the waterfalls, the Glory Hole, the wildlife, the entire experience. And it was in the Fall when the trees were in color. Definitely will return in the Spring when the Dogwoods and Redbuds are in bloom.

We visited late October and the leaves were changing and it was absolutely beauitiful here. We walked a little and then we took the tram ride and we were so glad that we did. The guide did a great job of telling us the history and pointing out the different things to see. We stopped a couple of times along the way and also got to feed the fish with food tha the guide provided. We got to see bison, elk and longhorn cattle very close up. I would highly recommend visiting here. Be sure and call ahead to reserve your spot on the tram if you are planning on doing that. We ate burgers at the small cafe there and they were good. I hope to be able to visit here again in the spring when the dogwoods bloom.

The scenery in the canyon is gorgeous! The trees were changing colors and leaves were gently falling. There were waterfalls and ponds with rainbow trout. Clint was our guide and offered fun facts about the area. You do need to call ahead to reserve your spot. This is also true if you want to do one of their other activities. (Also ask for senior pricing if you're 62+.) Afterwards we ate at the small "cafe" and got to try bison and elk burgers. Great experience!

We loved the scenery, wildlife, yellow trout and the waterfalls. Don't miss this when you are visiting Branson. The staff were very accommodating. We were late arriving and they got us caught up with the group.
