swan creek township park

We have used this park this summer, for picnics and exercising. It is a very quiet park, with some very nice amenities. Bathrooms are very clean and open til 9 PM. Drinking fountain. Large gravel parking lot. There is only one picnic table (and a charcoal grill) near the parking lot, however. Remaining picnic tables are under a wonderful picnic shelter. There are charcoal grills next to the shelter, in addition to set-up tables for groups-buffet style at your finger tips! Lots of tall, beautiful shade trees. Nice playground with both new and old style equipment-including the old fashioned merry-go-round-something you don't find in many parks anymore. There is a great paved walking path connecting these areas, as well as the 3 baseball fields, with bleachers. Basketball hoops also available. There is a place to set up a net for volleyball/badminton etc., though no net was up when we have visited. Lots of well kept grass for the kiddies to romp on. We have often visited during the evening and taken our dog on the path with us, off leash. Just clean up after your pet. Lovely park!
