tea room bar

We found the Tea Room Bar our favorite place to grab a quick bite. We ate here 3 or 4 times while at Koele for the weekend. (Our first time eating there, we ordered off the Terrace menu since there was no room for walk ins when we got hungry. The staff was amazingly accomodating at getting us our dinner promptly in the Tea Room Bar which usually only serves a light menu). We tried the Captain Mojito ($12 + tax), the first time I ordered the mojito it was quite tasty, the 2nd time, not so much. Captain Morgan's Rum with pineapple juice and mint leaves. Also had absolut bloody marys ($11 + tax), so yummy but a little spicy. Not to be missed are the Mini Kobe Burgers (mini cheeseburgers) and the Spicy Tempura Ahi Rolls. Koele does an amazing job with burgers, they keep them moist, juciy and just drippingly tasty. 3 mini burgers with shoestring fries ($17 + tax). The spicy tempura ahi rolls were SO good ($17 + tax). Probably not for the sushi connoisseurs. (we ate them 3 times they were so good). The tempura is crispy and it can get slightly messy as you eat (I was unable to shove the whole piece into my mouth and at times it would fall apart, but proficient enough with chopsticks to pick up every last bit). We also got the homemade chips and Maui onion dip (not on their menu but on the room service menu and they did serve it to us there). The chips were delicious, perfectly seasoned and crisp but not bogged down with oil and the maui onion dip was a little on the sweet side but very good as well. The service was always great.
