This is always our first stop when we shop for pottery in Seagrove. It is an excellent way to see (and buy) the creations from over 60 or more local potters. Their hours tend to be a little longer than those of individual potters too. When we want to see more of a particular potter’s work they have maps and will help you find the way to individual galleries. We never leave empty handed. A small coffee shop has a few seats to eat, drink and relax. Well worth your time.

We always stop here before visiting our favorite potters. The selection is huge and the prices are the same as going to the potters stores. The iced coffee was fabulous and everyone was so friendly!

This really is a good place to start your Seagrove pottery visit. There is pottery from many different potters, so you can get a good idea on what is available in the area. They have men's and women's bathrooms, a small coffee shop area, and a great place to sit outside and sit in a rocking chair.

A huge selection for sale. Many different varieties most are very reasonably priced. They will ship. Very friendly staff. Found a couple of real bargains (I think).

Many potters from the Seagrove area represented in a lovely building with an up-scale coffee/snack area. The staff, especially Janice, very friendly and knowledgeable. Provided a good sense of the area and answered questions we had.

This store has items from a lot of the pottery shops in Seagrove. You can see what you like and buy it here or go directly to the shops. The pottery is displayed by shop name and have business cards or directions to the shops. There is also a coffee bar and restrooms here.

I recommend that you start at the Seagrove Creations Pottery Gallery. There you will find a sample showcasing over 60+ potters. Since there are so many potters' studios and workshops in the area this first stop will give you a good idea of which studios you would like to visit. They are distributed throughout the area, so plan on seeing about 5 or 6 if you also visit the Museum of NC pottery, where you will spend about 45 minutes. THere you will find much information about the craft and maps that will direct you to the potters. The museum exhibits some beautiful pottery, old and new as well. Today Seagrove remains a center for the production of pottery which European settlers brought the traditions to the Piedmont region of North Carolina in the late 1700's.I thoroughly enjoyed meeting the potters. You will not be able to resist purchasing some of their beautiful work although there is no pressure to buy.
