We went out of our way coming back from NY to MI to stop here and it was absolutely worth it. Our guide Andy said they are closed Sunday & the animals only get hay that day so Monday is the best time for the tour/feeding. You can drive through in your own car but the wagon tour is worth it. Our guide was super knowledgable about the different types of animals and even about individual animals personalities. They really got our 4 yr old involved feeding and we all had a blast.

My husband and I recently visited with his 5 year old son and my two grandkids, ages 2 and 9 months. They thoroughly enjoyed the petting zoo and of course the wagon tour. I felt like I was on a safari through different continents. The animals came right up to the wagon and the kids got a kick out of feeding the camel, buffaloes, elk, cattle, antelopes and a host of other animals. This is a must do activity when in this area!

Daniel was our tour guide during the wagon trail. He kept our group of 15 entertained and interested. This place is a hidden gem!!

We (3 adults and a 8 year old boy) visited this location on 9/1/14. We are had a great time. There are several animals to go see at the petting zoo before and after the tour. You get to handle/pet a young camel (yes, a camel), goats, baby chicks, baby ducks and bunnies. There are kangeroos, squirel monkies, Mccaws, turkeys, Lemas and a ton of other animals to see. The wagon ride goes through part of the 80 acres is a great experience. They give you a bowl of food to feed the animals as you are going on the tour. The tour guides are very nice and knowledgable. I won't ruin the suprise of all the different animals you will get to feed and touch. Hint...there is a beuatiful big camel who loves to eat out of your hand. Your kids will love this... Adults love this! The wagon ride is about an hour long. Don't forget your camera! Do this tour...you will be pleased. All of the animals on the tour will eat from your hand. They are all very easy going.

Took 5 year old grandkids to visit and loved seeing their excitement with the variety of animals. The wagon ride and being able to actually feed the animals was a highlight of the trip. Hope to come back next summer with 2 four year old grandkids.

I went with the idea that I wanted to take my grandchild. She is two and had a blast on the wagon and in the petting farm. I must say that the adults probably had more fun than her! My stomach hurt from laughing so hard. The staff was great and friendly. It was amazing to see all the animals up close like that. We also like that with adult help the children could pick up some of the animals in the petting zoo.

We were with our two adult children & 2 grandchildren (ages 4.& 2). From the moment we went into the petting zoo area until we finished the wagon ride, there was nothing but joy. I can't remember the last time I laughed so hard at the reactions of our are family and the animals. Staff was very friendly as well.

We visited RR Ranch this morning and it was wonderful! Our kids (ages 1 and 3) were both amazed at all the animals and seeing them so close, feeding them, etc. my husband and I had a great time too! Our guide, Paul, was very knowledgable about the ranch and all the animals. He also let both of our boys (and anyone else who wanted to) drive the wagon with him. I saw a few bad reviews that mentioned the smell.... Ummm it's an animal park! Lol of course at times it wasn't exactly like smelling roses but it was what one might expect in very close proximity to hundreds of animals. We each got a bucket of feed for the wagon ride (included with the price), and this was plenty for us since we knew to space it out throughout the trip. Wish we would have had more cash for some of the other feeding opportunities at the petting zoo, but still very fun! We got there around 10 and didn't have to wait at all for a wagon. Highly recommend Rolling Ridge Ranch!

My hubby and I were visiting the area. The comments and pics on TA looked like a good time and it certainly was. The cost was $16.95 per person. The wait might be 5-15 minutes for the wagon. The ride takes about an hour. On the wagon you are given a bucket of food to feed the animals and you may purchase more at a reasonable cost. The animals roam free and they come right up to the wagon and the driver stops so you can feed the animals. How cool is that! We got some great pics. The surroundings are beautifully lush with trees and ponds. This place puts Disney and Busch Gardens to shame. There is a petting zoo, too. There are no restrooms, only potti potties.

My wife and I brought my 7 year old granddaughter and 4 year old grandson here for the day. Spent about 4 hours here, including a little picnic lunch. What a fantastic place for kids to experience little animals in the unique petting zoo (dwarf cows, camels, ducks, rabbits, goats, pot belly pigs, just to name the petting animals. Cages animals included monkeys, birds, etc.all wonderful! Informative and easy to read book provided at entry with all animals listed and explanations that were kid friendly. Took the wagon tour (spend the money, it's well worth it, and you won't get your car mauled). The kids loved it, animals galore coming up to the wagon to eat the food provided in your buckets. 2 mile, 1 hour wagon ride experience many animals just like outlined by the website. You will not be disappointed! Key Tip - go in the morning, earlier the better, so the animals are still hungry and come up to the wagon. They may not be so active later in the afternoon. Definitely worth every penny. Picnic and playground area, so bring food and enjoy it.

We went here for my 4 year old daughter to feed the animals and see them up close and personal. At the end of the day, I think my husband had the most fun out of all of us. Our wagon driver, Sam, was very informative and friendly. We had an amazing time and will definitely come back again.

It was the best I'm 68 and the youngest grandchild 8 wagon ride I was in aw. New born animals in field, and 3 elk in pond plus I can't put in words how great this was for all. Great time for all I felt like a child in wonderland.

The Rolling Ranch is a great family attraction. It is such a fun adventure for children and adults of all ages. We had our 4-month old with us and she smiled and laughed at all the animals that came up to the cart to be given some treats. The horse-driven cart makes it fun! The petting zoo is also a neat experience. We truly enjoyed our visit. The only reason why I didn't rate this attraction as "excellent" is because of the price. The price for each person makes it hard for many families to experience this gem.

This is an awesome opportunity for people of all ages and abilities! It was a lot of fun feeding the animals and the Amish tour guide even permitted the kids to drive the wagon for a short time which thrilled my 5 year old..he is still talking about it!! It was really nice to see how this outfit had special ramps so people in wheelchairs could go on the wagon ride and enjoy the fun too! Nice interactive petting zoo and other areas to enjoy! I would highly recommend this experience to everyone!! Just be sure to check your clothes and skin for ticks after the trip since the animals get up so close and personal when you are feeding them!! Great fun

Enjoyable for all ages. On the last trip, I'm not sure if the 9 or 69 year old had more fun. We got the first wagon out on a pleasant, overcast day which I think is perfect because I am not sure how active the animals are as the days heats up and more wagons go through. Plus, I didn't notice an odor at that time. Jake, our Amish driver, explained some things about the various animals and patiently answered questions. He also let the two younger kids steer the wagon team for a short period. There is a petting zoo, as well as other caged animals/birds. Things worth knowing: facilities are port-a-johns; petting zoo and caged animal attractions are not on paved paths, which may make accessibility more difficult; I don't think food was available in the morning when we were there. Some may find it expensive for 1-2 hours entertainment. The feed vending machines ($.25) only dispense the equivalent of approximately 5 fruit loops.
