willows activity farm

Just got back from here after spending 4 hours getting frozen through from watching the children spending most of the afternoon on the inflatable slide ! I was worried that it would be too young for a 6 yr and 9 yr old . They had a great time but sadley as an activity centre NOT farm . It could be so much more , the animals are there and lots of extremely young staff but very little information On offer other than written on posters .Take a picnic as well as not the greatest of food on offer ,very limited junk food .

Although it may seem a bit pricy to get in, once you are in you are spoilt for choice with the activities available, and get great value for money. The venue is well looked after and is clean and tidy throughout. The owners clearly take pride in the appearance of the farm. There is so much to do you can easily spend a whole day here and not get bored. We visited in March, and luckily the weather was dry. We will 100% be returning in the summer when the sun is shining. Great venue for all the family!!

We brought the grandchildren here last summer. They have a farm shop as well which you can visit and buy all sorts of goodies without having to pay an entrance fee. You do have to pay to enter the park but although we thought it was quite pricey, the grandchildren loved meeting and greeting and stroking the farm animals. They went on a tractor ride and on the lake. They do have a restaurant but we had heard mixed views on the quality of the food so we took packed lunches. They have plenty of washing and disinfecting facilities which is essential after petting the animals.

Would recommend a membership if local which includes entries and all activities. Can be a bit repetitive if you go often though

Went to willow Farm today with my daughters and 20 month old grandson. What an amazing experience it was. The value for money ( contrary to some reviews on here ) was exceptional. The amount of things to do and see is varied and fun. From the fantastic animal Barns to the rooster singsong , the carousel to the art and craft room. I have taken my grandson to the bigger well known children's attractions ie sundown, Blackpool and Alton towers and I am pleased to say that willow farm beat them all for value and fun. Thank you for a wonderful day. We will definitely be back. Well done to all concerned from the cleaners all the way to the top management.

Being local to the farm, we are fairly regular visitors to willows. We've been 2 days in a row and had two lovely experiences, largely centred around the fantastic shepherd in the lambing centre who is funny and informative, and tipped off today by myself and 5 yr old seeing our first lamb safely born. We enjoy all elements of the farm, there is always something to interest us and we never get bored. I think it's expensive to pay on the day, especially if you have no vouchers, but as members on 2012 prices it's quite reasonable for what we pay.

The animals are an important part of the attraction and whilst they can't all remain in the fields during winter we do our best to keep a good range of animals on display that can be contacted in The Farmyard. We believe Willows is a great family day out and your review is testament to that. The soft play and chicken dodge are always popular activities and a great way for the whole family to run off some steam and have some fun. Our team work hard to keep the park clean, tidy and litter free so it is always nice when this is fed back to us. At this time of year some of the areas on the park are closed down for winter which is reflected in the price however we run a full programme of shows throughout the day and there is all the usual play to enjoy from the indoor JCBs, ice skating and Woolly Jumpers to the treehouse, zip wire and sandpits. Our all inclusive price allows unlimited play and many of our visitors deem it great value for money. We hope to welcome you again in the future.
