First off, Alberto personally gave us a tour of the museum. His grandfather originally bought the salina after the big alluvione of 1965. Very informative and interesting. It even kept the interest of our children which is saying something. We also had a chance to tour the outside with one of the girls who worked there. Really all very interesting and strongly recommended. The salina is just a short hop from Trapani and maybe 40 minutes (if that) from Marsala. Easy to get to and very inexpensive.

In the middle of the salt fields is the salt museum located. Very infomative guided tour, competent guide, impressive location. You will never eat salt like the way you did before.

this was a really nice experience, we really enjoyed the visit to this place. The person taking care of this place gave us an explanation on the process of salt making through out the years. He also explained about the things used for making salt... Very interesting indeed... Not to be missed if you are visiting Trapani....

This is a lovely and under-visited area and the museum is an excellent way of finding out all about the salt panning that has been going on here for hundreds of years.

I did not pay for the museum part, but peaked my head in to look and that was enough. Just seeing the Salt pans was awesome and the windmills were very interesting and made for beautiful pictures. Also note, the salt is only in the 'piles' you see in all the pictures at the end of the summer around the hottest time!

Piccolo museo ma ricco di strumenti ed informazioni che aiutano a capire il duro e incerto lavoro che c'è dietro la produzione di un chicco di sale. Bella esperienza in uno splendido scenario con Trapani e le isole Egadi sullo sfondo.

Pur essendo trapanese, solo l'arrivo di alcuni amici spagnoli mi ha portato a visitare questo museo. E stata una esperienza meravigliosa e devo darne merito anche al ragazzo che ci ha accompagnato e spiegato passo per passo tutta la produzione del sale. Consiglio a tutti di visitare il museo anche per capire quali sono le nostre origini.

A chi decide, come me, di visitare la zona di Trapani, consiglio vivamente di fare una visita a questo museo. A parte l'interesse in questa attività artigianale, è molto bello il panorama, davvero indimenticabile. La trattoria a fianco è utile per chi vuole pranzare o fare un aperitivo.

Cortesia, bontà delle pietanza tipiche della zona.Menuù per tutti e soprattutto la certezza di mangiare del pesce freschissimo

Posto favoloso, dispone di una trattoria nella quale assaporare i gusti tipici trapanesi. Il museo è molto interessante perché ti immerge nell'atmosfera delle vecchie saline, spiegando ai profani segreti e difficoltà della vita dei salinieri.

ci siamo stati a pranzo ristorante cucina ottima tutto buono dal antipasto al dolce personale gentilissimo locale pulito da consigliare a tutti.......

Siamo andati appositamente il 26 Dicembre alle 11 del mattino e il museo era chiuso. Con noi altre persone che sono tornate indietro.Il museo è all'interno del ristorante, per cui adotta gli stessi orari del ristorante, e allora aggiornate il sito internet in modo che si programmi un orario di visita compatibile con l'apertura del ristorante

Importante visitare il museo del Sale di Culcasi, per capire il duro lavoro per la produzione, i sistemi operativi e l'antica tradizione.

Vale la visita.Il sale si dà per scontato ma non è così. Visita molto interessante ( la ragazza è molto brava nello spiegare e nel coinvolgere le persone ), si imparano molte cose sulla raccolta del sale e soprattutto su quello che si trova in commercio. Abbiamo comprato un paio di chili di quello integrale e devo dire effettivamente che è un’altra cosa. Incredibile. Consiglio la visita il pomeriggio, quando il sole inizia a scendere. Il posto è magico, il senso di lontananza totale.
