一生必须来一次，也许都不够！到达uyuni小镇，有很多旅行社可以去盐湖，3天2晚的团一般在700-900玻币之间。都是西语导游兼司机开着吉普车带你们去转，最南端可以到玻国和智利阿根廷的交接。睡袋无所谓带不带，防晒要做好，条件就是艰苦一些，但都是值得的！另外，最好在春节左右去，否则几乎不太可能看到＂天空之镜＂

Make this tour a priority. One of the most magnificent places we have visited in our life. EXCELLENT! This was the best place we have enjoyed from many years.This is the worth making a specific trip of all with the intention of seeing the Salar . If you're making your way overland through Bolivia and passing through there; its definitely worth seeing. The inspiring miraculous heaven I expected it to be. Overwhelmed. It's a bit chilli, so bring a windproof jacket and long pants , which is sufficient. Prepare for one of the highlights of your trip!! the salt flats itself is amazing.. Its a real WOW moment when you first drive on to the salt.

We started our tour of Salar Uyuni from San Pedro de Atacama. We spent the entire day choosing our company going into several shops and asking information as we were worried about the quality of services. We ended up booking with Lithium Travel and the woman insisted we would be Lithium and that she wouldn't give us to another company. Well, in the morning that ended up happening and we ended up with Estrella del Sur. It ended up being great. There were several vehicles that departed that day in a caravan, but the Estrella vehicles seemed to be the sturdiest ones and the only ones that were actually able to cross the salar while it was flooded. Our driver Oscar was great, he spent so much time with us setting up artistic photos at the salar. The food and accommodation was better than expected.

Make this tour a priority. One of the most magnificent places we have visited in our two and a half months in South America. Our tour operator Cordillera Traveller can be described with one word. EXCELLENT! This was the best value we have enjoyed in many years. Way to go Cordillera!

As for preserves, this one ranks the highest just due to its size, location and uniqueneess. Great experience for a once in a life time (unless you are in close proximity).

Yes they're amazing. Yes they're a photographer's playground. Yes they're something you wouldn't see anywhere else in the world. But is it worth making a specific trip all the way there solely with the intention of seeing the Salar? I think not. I travelled with cordellia(?) from San Pedro de Atacama, the agency listed in lonely planet. Don't believe everything you read, the accomodation, food and driver was excellent! No need of a sleeping bag when travelling with this tour operator. The driver Dani was considerate and informative (though only spoke Spanish, but very slow and easy to understand). I did the three day tour ending up in Uyuni. The tour is absolutly spectacular, never seen such a unique landscape before. I did suffer a bit from the altitude, partly because I didnt spend two days in San Pedro de Atacama in advance to get used to high altitude, but I used coco leaves which I found helpful. It's a bit chilli, so bring a windproof jacket and long pants (I travelled in March), which is sufficient. Prepare for one of the highlights of your trip!!

Visiting the Salar was the #1 high point of the trip. We've done a lot of traveling, and the beauty of this extensive salt flat is perhaps the most stunning of any sight we've seen. We were here during the "rainy season," and there were about 2 inches of water covering the surface, resulting in a surreal landscape in which we had to suspend our belief in what we saw. It was almost impossible to make out the horizon because of the mirror-like reflection of the water. Sunset was gorgeous! What a place!

Tremendous natural wonder. Have to experience walking in the clouds. On the way you see herds of llamas and vicunas. On the salar you feel like you are walking in the sky. Endless horizons. You have to see and fell the ice. Perfect for pictures.

You might ask yourself why would you take a 3-day jeep tour to see one sight: the Salt Flats: well because there is a lot more to see that were for us much more amazing than the Salt Flats itself. If you wanna have any kind of trip around South America or visit from South to North or the other way around taking the 3-day tour just makes a lot of sense.Taking the advice of Lonely Planet we visited the Salt Flats of Bolivia during a 3 day jeep tour with Cordillera Traveller. While we were promised basic food & accommodation we were probably both lucky and the tour was underpromised and it "overdelivered itself".We began our trip from San Pedro de Atacama and during the 3-day tour we've seen the most beautiful sites of the world we've ever seen, we got to know very well the other two couples from our jeep and everyone else we were interested in from our convoy (18 people). We had decent breakfast every day, 3 lunches and 3 dinners. We had a variety of meals from tuna fish with corns to grilled chicken with garnish and wine.Physically the tour was demanding: elevation 2500 m we climbed to elevation almost 5000 m in a day, we had 0 °C during the first night at the cold accommodation (others said it was a warm night: sometimes it gets down to -15 °C ) but I still had a good sleep without a sleeping bag. The second night we had to ask to change our room because it was as cold as the first night but should have been: we were given a cosy room right away. While I did not have any symptoms of altitude sickness some couldn't sleep, had headaches, stomachaches and bleeding noses.The 3-day-tour (if you are in San Pedro and wanna continue your tour taking this tour makes a lot of sense simply from the logistical point of view) was our most memorable positive experience from our 6-week-long travel in South-America.Make sure someone speaks Spanish in your car and be friendly with the driver: they work a lot, basically taking tours back-and-forth all the time.Enjoy the tour, it's full of incredible natural beauties!

February is a good time to visit when you can see both the reflection of the sky and also make funny pictures with the no perspective white salt ground.

imy visit was 3 years ago..I booked a three day tour with a company Uyuni, there was two landrovers and a guide, he was very funny and helpful throughout.. the salt flats itself is amazing.. Its a real WOW moment when you first drive on to the salt. we had a real laugh taking the photos, again helped by our guide..the hostels are basic and very cold in October when I went..had to sleep in my hat.but, its well worth the trip, you cant help but be amazed at this part of the world...
