Nice to rest at the beach, good beach service and calm swimming and dive at natural reef poll. There are good waves too. It is important to know about the best time to the practice the surf and swimming/dive (low tide).

Taipus de Fora is one of the best kept secrets in Brazil, a beautiful lomg beach known for its natural rock pools which form at low tide. It's situated on the Atlantic Ocean side of the Peninsula de Maraú in Bahia, Brazil around 20 minutes drive south from the main town of Barra Grande. Most people come here to go snorkelling but the beach itself is beautiful- just miles and miles of soft golden sand. During the day the beach bars do a good trade and most people are day trippers but there a number of good pousadas to stay at if you want to wake up with the waves. Dreamland Bungalows and Pousada Encanto de Lua are both great and part of the Hidden Pousadas Brazil special collection.

I enjoyed every aspect of this tour. A ride on Quad to Taipus de Fora, the life on the reef, the beach and the possibility of exploring the area which has good infrastructure.

Brazil has so many great beaches but this is one of the best, we visited in August and the tides were fairly high. At low tide the natural rock pool was good for swimming, this was early in the morning during our stay. At high tide there were strong swells and a number of surfers were active. From the beach we saw Humpback whales on two days.

This beach stretched for kilometers and along the way you might find fishermen and a few other people, but you could truly have a large section all to yourself to build that castle or take a dip in the surf. No beach hawkers to be seen.

One has to be careful not to forget your own glasses, and to dive with the low tide. Otherwise it is very pleasurable and long lasting experience if you are minimally prepared

Beautiful destination for all people who love warm seas with many things to do and good food. Buddha Bar has excellent service and very good food. Great calm hidden place in Brazil. Bambu Dorado Pousada is such a cool place to spend the nights. Avoid the Brazilian Holidays because it should get crowded then...

Get tide tips with the locals to make sure you are close to the reef at the right time and you can practically walk to the reef from the beach. Snorkel rental is widely available and there is also a night dive option which is highly recommended.Walking or cycling from Barra grande beach to Taipus the fora (aprox. 10Km) is also worth doing. Make sure to check the tide again and go heavy on the sunscreen and you should have a memorable experience!

This beach hás a very special feature: besides the white sand, the long shadows provided by the coconut trees, there is this clear and blue sea, with a coral reef close enough to take children in thei first snorkel dive.

O difícil acesso para carros de passeio (paraíso para os 4 x 4) é devidamente compensado pela praia. Paradisíaca. Boa infraestrutura para receber os turistas. Na maré baixa é imperdível o mergulho nas piscinas de águas cristalinas que se formam.

Piscinas naturais, com água transparente. Possibilidade de mergulhos e outros esportes aquáticos, tais como vela e, stand up padle.

Nossa, que mergulho maravilhoso que é possível desfrutar nessa praia, uma biodiversidade enorme embaixo d'agua, com água cristalina!!!! Sensacional!!!

Foi uma visita curta porém proveitosa. Descobrimos que tem que madrugar para poder desfrutar melhor desse paraíso, pois fomos de pickup através de uma agência de turismo e chegamos com a maré subindo, e quase não vimos as piscinas artificiais.

Praia linda,propicia ao mergulho e banhos deliciosos com vários restaurantes com comidas regionais e deliciosa muito boa para passeio e descontração além do local ser lindo e tem uma população bastante atenciosa e receptiva.

Praia paradisíaca! Para os amantes do snorckeling, o lugar é perfeito! Você tem águas calmas, uma piscina natural gigante, com várias espécies de peixinhos. Nota 11 pro lugar
