levin adventure park

Levin is a small town, blink and you have passed through it! However, if you are on a long journey, a stop at Levin Adventure park is a great diversion for your children. Alternatively, take a picnic ( BBQ fa cities are there too!) and let your children play for a pleasant day. Beautiful bright colours everywhere, and really fun facilities for all ages. Good ablution block too.Sit under the oak trees and enjoy. My children are grown up now, but I still enjoy seeing everyone in the park when I pass by. Rotary run a train at the weekends.

Great stopping place on a trip. Easy to get from on SH1, plenty of parking. Toilets, place to have your picnic. Great play area for young and older kids. Coffee cart there when we stopped.

So many people stop here regularly it is evidently very popular with children of all ages, brightly painted, lots of interesting activities and spotlessly clean and tidy

This area is quite unique, very large and has nearly everything a family needs.There is a Thomas the tank train,when it is not working the children are allowed to climb onto it,and even pretend they are driving it.There is a seperated area for very young children, which has a fence and gate around it.Its very secure and has the usual equipment of swings, slides, see saws etc. There is a very large area with all the things for older children.Climbing frames, swings,tumble drums,roundabouts etc. In another area there is a outdoor gym for adults, with all the usual apparatus.This means the adults can have a workout as well.There is also grass areas for picnics etc.There is also a indoor are with seats etc, so you can sit indoors if needed.All in all a excellent entertainment area.

Not just a drive by, and the bonus of the train in the weekends. Always looks bright and colourful and its so spacious with equipment to suit all ages, take a picnic or barbecue and clean facilities as well. Well done Levin community for this lovely outdoor space.

Love this park, so many things for the kids to play on including the parents. There is a bbq area that you can use including an indoor area with tables etc for picnics very clean also public toilets that is close by to the park

We often stop to visit this park on our way to Wellington and decided to check it out on our way home to Taranaki. There is now an outdoor adults gym, volleyball net, basketball court, BBQ areas, and several other playground additions. It's now our favourite park in the North Island with great free to use facilities.

The Adventure park has been developed by the community and become a destination for all travellers passing through Levin on SH1. With activities for all ages, a room where you can make hot drinks and have lunch under cover it is ideal. A fantastic facility for both residenst and travellers well done Levin

My three young daughters, my husband and I had an amazing time here. We were just passing through and had to stop to play. We spent a couple of hours here and could of stayed longer. We loved loved that it had something for all of us.

Went here with my brother and nephew, rode the free miniature railway and enjoyed the playground. Lots for kids to do and a nice relaxed atmosphere with families making use of the BBQ facilities, a nice day out

The Adventure park is an excellent place to stop for a break when travelling to or from WellingtonThe are toilet with wheelchair access a large community lunch room with hot and cold water tables and chairs and a microwave to heat your food.there is plenty of play equipment for all ages of children for toes that wish to BBQ there are two electric BBQ available

One of the best things to happen to Levin. Great playground for kids and some of the best toilets around which is really important to travellers. Everything is always well maintained and looks very colourful. Have been there many times with my grandkids

This is a superb play park for the children, as well as swings and roundabouts etc., plenty of open space for the kids to let of steam and use up some energy. For the parents, grandparents etc., there is an area for making tea or coffee,having a picnic in on rainy days and clean rest rooms.All my grandchildren have enjoyed time spent there.There are also special events put on at different times throughout the year.

Great place for family entertainment. awesome facilities, extremely well maintained. Highly recommend to all.

This is a top class place to stop for a break when travelling State Highway 1 from Wellington north or return. Very clean, well set out and colourfully decorated, there's even a small park for the dogs to get a run around. The attached childrens playground will ensure excess energy is used up. There is an inside picnic building for rainy days too.
