搭车上山的感觉很复古很兴奋！山上的景观非常好！可以看到整个威灵顿的风景！有时间跟体力的人满推荐可以买单程票上山后从植物园散步下山，如果不想走太多路其实可以直接买来回票、走下山到市区其实蛮远的！

坐缆车全程大概也就4分钟，缆车已经有一百多年历史了，虽然看上去不是很壮观，却折射了这座城市的历史和文化，在山上看全城景色也很漂亮

在一条很隐蔽的小巷里，麦当劳旁边，有不少人在排队的就是他了。全程600米到山顶居然还有4个站，票价来回6NZD，首都人民就是待遇好，全世界都一样啊。

I did this twice, one upon first arriving and the second time I made a friend go because the view was too incredible to miss. At the top there was nothing of interest to me. An observation deck that was too expensive for my liking, a cable car museum, gift shop and cafe. If you have time you can walk down to the botanical garden. It's a short was and easy to find. It's worth money to spend a couple more dollars to take a round trip cable car ride if you are short on time.

Only worth using one way up. We were already at the top having visited the gardens and parked near the bottom. As recommended by all the guide books we went on it. Views pretty average and the area at the bottom, office blocks and Starbucks is pretty underwhelming. Got straight back on and returned to the top. Probably did not help that it was a dull rainy day but even the gardens looked drab.

A really pleasant way to see the sights of Wellington, $7:50 return, but I would recommend walking back down

A nice little Cablecar with a 10min ride to the top - I doubt it would be worth the ride up and down; it was not a difficult walk back down to the City

Its a must-do, up cable car down through botanic gardens. Its a cable car that replaced the original victorian one but running on the same track. Very quaint.

120 metre trip up a hill, 3 mins with stops. Zero wow factor views. Tale a drive or catch a bus to Mt Victoria if you want a superb view. Over rated and underwhelming.

Don't bother with this attraction unless you have little children who are easily amused. Nothing much to see at the top, avoid at all costs.

A lovely way to get to the top. Stunning views over Wellington and the Great Harbour of Tara. It was reasonably priced and the staff were very helpful. There was a bus (free) laid on at the top to take us to zealandia and back. We also was able to visit the Carter Observatory and "caught the stars" then wandered through the Botanic Gardens.

It's always good to have a go on something you have seen on TV and this is no different. It takes about five minutes and the views from the top over the city are spectacular. We bought return tickets but never got to use them as we walked down through the beautiful botanic gardens. Have a look in the little free museum at the top. The history of the cable car is an interesting 15 minute stop.

A nice trip up and down, the staff were friendly and the views from the top were very good. As we were there as part of a cruise it was super busy, and super crowded, but that was to be expected. When talking to the staff they said the mid afternoon was the best time to travel. Most of the tourists had stopped and the views hadn't. Worthwhile way to get some nice views and as a gateway to the gardens and Zealandia.

Snuck over for a quick ride to the top. Great view and inexpensive. Quick access in Lambton Quay. A must try when in Wellington.
