Got a great deal on under par this course is a must play .very nice layout.only complaint traps need a lot of work but a very challenging course.

3rd time playing here - 2 previous experiences were great. This time, the course was booked solid - but no complaint from me with the wait between tees for our foursome - was typical to see two groups ahead of us waiting at the tees as we finished putting out. Twosome behind us started driving balls at us on holes 8&9 - we couldn't move any faster with 3 groups ahead of us!!! Groups started skipping holes with no control exercised by course mgmt. After the turn, we arrived at hole 10 only to find someone cut in front of us. After we teed off, we saw another pair come in behind us that was not the twosome of jerks we had behind us all day. White & Blue Tee boxes were a disaster. Front 9 took 3 hours due to the waiting at each tee. We walked off after #10 when we saw the mess created by the course staff

I know; you probably think it's sour grapes, but this course is too tough for the average 15 to 20 handicapper. Admittedly, it was a very windy and cold day, which added to the difficulty, but there are a number of holes with blind tee shots or intimidating carries over 150 yards of bush (e.g. holes 8 and 9). Also, the sand is very heavy in texture; unlike sand on any other golf course that I have played. On the plus side, the course design is interesting, and the greens and fairways are in good shape, and the clubhouse is not large, but very attractive. Also, the view of the clubhouse as you come up the 18th fairway, is spectacular. One final negative: the course is located a long way from any large metropolitan areas.

Last weekend, we had our company golf tournament here. The course is in wonderful shape. Great practise facilities. Afterwards we were delighted with the wonderful meal that was served. Steaks, roasted potatoes and fresh vegetables with a delicioius apple dessert. I like my steak well done as others like theirs rare and medium. When the tray came out, they had different thicknesses and therefore you could choose from them. All 10 at our table found a steak to our liking and prepardness. There was a total of 144 golfers and we were all fed in a prompt manner.Staff in both the pro shop and clubhouse were considerate and polite.PS ....they make a wonderful homemade cesear drink in the clubhouse if that is your poison!Enjoy and have fun.....we all did!

We had a brief over-night visit to Port Rowan, and on the way home headed up to Otter Creek to do our best with this challenging course. We had heard and read much praise - the course lived up to it all. The club house is very beautiful and we had to take shelter on the pretty outdoor patio when we were rained out for the last three holes. But prior to that, we did our best to meet whatever Otter Creek could throw at us, and it was very challenging indeed. The course is laid out very beautifully, and you can peek over at nearby holes to see what the future holds. The forward tees are placed nicely to allow me to compete with my husband, so it's a good course for a male/female couple. The eight hole in particular is a great challenge, but beautiful at the same time - what fun! We were really disappointed we couldn't play the final three holes, but I guess that gives us incentive to return! Great course!

Great course, if you're looking for a challenging course with different looks, this could be the one. The first 4 holes have a different look from the next 5 and then the back nine. Luv the challenge! Great club house and restaurant! The only problem it's a little remote for some folk but worth the drive.

OtterCreek may be a little drive for some but well worth it when you get there. The practice facility is huge complete with sand traps. It is a wonderful course layout that has you meandering through the forest. The holes do not go back/forth like so many courses. The patio overlooks the 18th fairway and is a great place to sit and enjoy refreshments after the game. My husband and I highly recommend the course. Well worth the trip.

Otter Creek is one of the finest maintained golf courses in Ontario that I have ever played. The course has a large variety of holes to keep all golfers interested. The first few hole start as a semi-links style and then you start getting into holes with mild elevation changes. Some of the holes can be tough like #9 with a 200 yard layup so setup a shot of 180 years over a gorge to a elevated green. The staff at Otter Creek are amazing and the prices are affordable. If this course was closer to a larger city expect to be paying double what they change. Twilight can be $45 with a cart. They also have a fantastic practice range and the clubhouse is amazing and great food. This course is a 45 minute drive for me but I play it often... love this course.

We were staying in Woodstock and were looking for a nice place to play. After doing a little research we came upon Otter Creek. We were not disapointed. It is a lovely, difficult course about 25 min from Woodstock. The staff were friendly and accomodating when they could not find our cinfirmation from Golf Now. It has lovely views, mature trees and large greens. The only downside was there were a few brown spots. Otherwise, the course was well maintained. We had a great time and would go back when in the area.

Otter Creek Golf Course is a difficult golf course! There are NO easy shots … NO gimmes You're in for a test of your abilities to keep the ball in play on EVERY hole! Each fairway is relatively narrow … and each green a tough test The practice facility is FANTASTIC! Sand bunkers are available to practice from … as are a putting green and markers for your iron and driver … giving you a full range experience. The golf course is in excellent shape … as an 18 Handicap … it's a very difficult challenge but you'll have an idea of the shape of your game after a round here. The pro shop is friendly … the 19th hole excellent and you'll want to discuss your day's adventure whether it was the one shot you'd like to take over or the one you made to win a 'skin'. If you're a duffer … use the practice facility … don't bother trying to play this course! It's a true test of golf … PGA caliber and at a price point YOU CAN'T DUPLICATE ANYWHERE!

A relatively new golf course approximatley 5 years old. It may have the nicest bent grass greens I have ever played due to the newness of course and lack of poa to attack the greens. Great layout with mixture of long and short holes with many doglegs. Some forced carries so a GPS by the individual would be nice. Too hilly to walk for anyone other than teenager. Would highly recomend this course to anyone within the area. Rates were very reasonable $50 during the week. I hope to play this course many more times when I am in the London Ontario area
