north huron museum

A lovely depiction of life in North Huron. For fans of the writer Alice Munro, a recent Nobel prize winner, practically every exhibit can be an illustration to one or more of her stories. There is also a small room dedicated to Alice herself.

I Like this museum because it is strictly a local museum covering Wigham and the surrounding area. It also has the history of the CKNX local radio and TV station as well as the famous Traveling Barn Dance.
