~~~A very clean& organized operation............straw down between rows to keep the Strawberries nice & clean-----everyone, both young & old, eat to their heart's content, just 'tasting' the berries from the 'berry patch!! I swear, they should weigh everyone on the way in & again on their way out!! People must eat their weight in Berries!!.... Blueberries, Raspberries, Strawberries, Peaches, beans!!!...........Oh, next Summer is just around the corner & will warrant yet another trip to my local Produce stand!!~~~
Seasonal selections are well priced.They should advertise a bit more into Essex Co. to draw from that county.
We've been going to Pardo's Berrie Farms throughout my life. We go to pick-your-own fruit - generally blueberries, raspberries, beans and peaches. The produce is lovely, and in nice weather, it's a great family-friendly activity. You can see people, young and old alike, in various sized groups picking up and down the rows. It's quite popular for locals to bring their family members or visitors to pick in the warm seasons. It may be muddy in some of the rows. Also, do not wear your best clothes in case any fruit may stain them. If bringing young child, it is advisable to keep them in 'play' clothes for this activity as I have many memories of sitting under the blueberry bushes (thus staining my clothing) sampling the blueberries and waiting for my parents to be done picking. It's about a 25 minute drive from Chatham.
