八、九月是东部金针花盛开季节。在花连有众所周知的六十石山和较不为人知的赤科山。在这分别都有小瑞士之称，到最高点俯看景色很美。

对于造访六十石山的人来说,在8到9月份金针花季期间各个凉亭都是不错的景点,只是这里可以说是六十石山的最低观景凉亭,若你是一日游的朋友,这里在花季期间会有驻点导览,告诉你金针花的特性跟邻近的地势与地景,若你够幸运得以入住山中民宿,通常民宿主人会在晚上带你来到这里观赏夜间星星及银河,而在清晨日出前,这里也会是观赏云海自花东纵谷升起的绝佳地点,感觉会是相当难忘的体验.

每年8-9月是金针花花期，挡得住台风威力后会更用力开花，满山的橘金色花朵总是吸引大家每年定期的朝圣。还有登山瞭望台后，看见的花东纵谷梯田和大山，相信大家又会更爱花莲多几分。

每年的8月中旬~9月上旬是富里乡六十石山金针花盛开的时节，有台湾小瑞士美名的六十石山，满山遍野尽是黄橙橙的金针花，大地就像是铺上金黄色的地毯一般，非常美丽。金针花季期间除非遇到很强且具破坏力的台风，不然对于花儿的影响并不大，反而有时伴随台风而来的丰富雨水让金针花开得更漂亮了。我想如果可以在六十石山上的民宿住上1晚是最好的了，山上的黄昏、夜晚与清晨都相当迷人。因有些路段会车不易，若能有机动力强的机车代步是相对较好的选择，这里有好几个凉亭各有不同的风景，时间允许的话可以多去走走，当然也不要忘了上到最高点忘忧亭及小瑞士观景台欣赏这花东纵谷美丽迷幻的景致。

每年金针花季时期，六十石山总是挤满的人，因为这里不仅视野宽广，风景美丽加上一大片黄橘色金针花海，早上清晨观看日出，夜晚有可以看星海，真是漂亮极了，值得推荐给大家

虽然有点小山路,但是沿路看到那些金针花时就觉得很美！心情也很放松！而且满山偏布的金针花加上空气清幽！很想再去一次

六十石山最美的时候莫过于夏末的金针花季。只是花季游人太多，山上道路蜿蜒且高低起伏颇大，可以的话最好是租辆机车上山。山上阴凉处不多，夏季建议做好防晒。

This mountain gets all orange in August and we were lucky enough to be in the area at that time. The road is winding and it takes some effort to get there. Once there the views are lovely but there are way too many tourists here which definitely detracts from the visit. A good place to stop by if you are doing the Rift Valley road.

This is probably the most-visited lily-flower mountain on the island, not only because of its verdant hills but its easy-to-get-swooned atmosphere. The scorching sun and the intolerable temperatures seem to be gone while you reach the top.

Went there at the beginning August 2014. We take train from Hualien to Fuli Train Station and rent taxi (1400 NT for return) since there is no shuttle bus. The taxi driver became our tour guide too. The location is up in the mountain and the road is really curvaceous. After 30 min drive, it was paid off with a very beautiful scenery made by the mountains, rice field, and dayliles.You can eat fried daylilies or eat the daylilies soup as well buy the dried daylilies.It's suitable for you who want to find a non mainstream activities in Hualien as well enjoying the beautiful nature (incl taking pictures with/of daylilies).
